About The Position

SUMMARY: Drive high-impact initiatives within Investor Relations by leading projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced mortgage environment. This role blends project management and operational support, partnering closely with senior leadership to manage priorities, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and keep complex, high-visibility initiatives on track. Ideal for a seasoned mortgage professional who can navigate ambiguity, communicate effectively, and bring structure to evolving processes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Manage groups or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls within operations Develop and revise project plans, budgets and status updates as update occur Effectively leverage resources needed for large, high risk projects Collaborate effectively with external and internal partners Bridge differences between parties to come to an agreed upon solutions Coach and mentor project team members Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how the business will successfully execute their plans Establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into understandable details Maintain a basic understanding of investor and wholesale lender guidelines to support product rollouts and related initiatives. Responsible for the coordination of scoping meetings and other meetings as directed. Assist in the creation of job aids, reports and other presentations as requested. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner Serve as primary point of contact for investor and wholesale lender recertifications, managing the end-to-end process for annual and quarterly submissions, including coordination of documentation, timeline management, and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. Prepare correspondence to internal and external customers under the direction, and on behalf of the VP, Investor Relations/Credit Policy. Partner with departments on the collection, analysis and development of various reports Produces information by formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications. Represent leadership in select internal and external meetings, demonstrating subject matter awareness, capturing key discussion points, asking informed questions, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actionMaintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. . Lead coordination of project deliverables by engaging subject matter experts, setting expectations, and tracking progress to ensure timely completion. . Generate and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness through thorough review and validation Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Support evolving business needs by serving as initial point of contact for ad hoc initiatives, facilitating coordination and driving progress across cross-functional teams ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Complete any additional duties assigned by management Complete regulatory and compliance training, as required Assist WMC employees and departments as needed

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Five plus years of mortgage industry related experience is a must.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to generate, analyze and validate data and reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting Corporate Executive(s) and managing high level projects preferred.
