About The Position
Legend Biotech is seeking an Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Specialist as part of the US Executive & IR team based in Somerset, NJ. This role is designed for a junior-level specialist who is familiar with both investor relations (IR) and public relations (PR). The primary objective of this position is to support and enhance the company's reputation with both external and internal stakeholders. The specialist will collaborate closely with the company's IR and PR leaders to execute a strategic communications plan that targets various audiences, including the media, investment community, patient advocacy groups, and employees. In this role, the specialist will be responsible for drafting, editing, and coordinating the release of corporate presentations, investor presentations, press releases, and internal memos. They will support all aspects of the quarterly earnings release, including the preparation of earnings materials and webcasts. Additionally, the specialist will organize logistics and support the company's participation in investor and analyst events, such as conferences, meetings, and non-deal roadshows. Managing media, journalist, and investor inquiries will also be a key responsibility, along with providing ongoing public and media relations support, which includes drafting social media posts, holding statements, and Q&A documents. The specialist will assist with media monitoring and summarizing analyst research reports, as well as support internal company meetings and initiatives, including global town halls and patient advocacy events. This position is crucial for maintaining effective communication and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, thereby contributing to the overall success of Legend Biotech's mission to develop advanced cell therapies.
