We are Optimum!Job SummaryReporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations, the Analyst of Investor Relations will support the quarterly earnings process, coordinate on data collection and analyze data trends, and organize external engagements such as conferences and meetings. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional data collection and validation, maintain the investor relations database, and support the execution of a strategic investor engagement plan. Responsibilities also include analyzing sell-side research, tracking market and peer performance, and conducting in-depth industry and competitor research to inform executive decision-making and enhance investor understanding of the company’s business strategy. This a highly visible role on a small IR team with cross functional collaboration in corporate finance, data analytics, communications, and other business segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 2+ years of related industry experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, and/or investment banking
  • Understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, financial modeling, and strong business acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to, collaborate with, and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Preference for candidates who can be in the office a few days of the week with the ability to be on-site during earnings periods.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly earnings process and in the preparation of analyst and investor conference call materials, scripts, press releases, presentations and other financial information.
  • Management of cross functional data collection, tracking of deliverables, and data validation.
  • Coordinate on planning and logistics for investor conferences and external engagements, including registration, travel and prepared materials.
  • Maintain and update Investor Relationship Management database.
  • Development, implement, and communicate a proactive investor engagement strategy that ensure Optimum’s business strategy is understood by the investor community.
  • Analyze sell-side research reports, provide insights, and maintain detailed database of consensus estimates.
  • Compile and maintain company and peer benchmarking analysis of valuation, financial and operational metrics, including peer-company earnings reviews.
  • Conduct targeted research by analyzing and summarizing financial as well as operational information about industry, company, and competitors.
