About The Position
Garda Capital Partners (Garda) is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 21 years of experience deploying relative value strategies across fixed income markets for institutional investors. Garda has offices in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale. Garda is looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated New York based Analyst/Associate to join its Investor Relations team with a primary focus on Client Service and Reporting. This position is a key component of Garda’s Investor Relations team and has a broad mandate covering client service and reporting responsibilities, as well as supporting capital development efforts, both of which are vital to the fulfillment of the company’s overall objectives. The selected individual will be responsible for meeting investors’ needs for various levels of information, including regular reporting and ad hoc requests; facilitating due diligence efforts with investors; providing internal management reporting; managing Garda’s customer relationship management database (Backstop); managing monthly transactions processes; developing and updating marketing memorandum; and helping to prepare for investor meetings/calls (presentation decks, briefing docs, etc.). The role will involve assisting the team with special projects related to both client servicing and capital development that will help with the overall strategic objectives of the IR team. This individual will also assist our Client Portfolio Manager, so a working understanding of financial markets is preferred.
