About The Position

Dimensional’s Investment Solutions Group (ISG) acts as a source of specialized investment knowledge that delivers thought leadership, education and analysis to our clients through face-to-face interactions and compelling, informative content. Within ISG, this position sits in the Thought Leadership team, which produces high-quality thought-leadership content to support client communications on our research, equity and fixed income products, and portfolio construction. The Investment Strategist will create and maintain reusable content components—such as charts, tables, and graphics—that communicate complex and compelling investment data and information. This role combines coding expertise (Python, HTML, TXT, and SVG) with a deep understanding of investment content presentation to deliver high-quality, scalable, visual elements for use in PowerPoint, PDF, and web content (via internal knowledge base) production applications. The role will work collaboratively with content creators and operations specialists within ISG and key partners in the technology team. This position requires technical proficiency as well as strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering or a related field is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in a related role and a strong understanding of the asset management industry.
• Proficiency in Python and HTML for building and automating content elements.
• Experience working with SVG graphics and text-based data formats.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and presentation quality.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and partners.

Nice To Haves

• Strong SQL querying knowledge and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Git for code version control is preferred.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies and project management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable content elements (charts, tables, graphics) using Python, HTML, TXT, and SVG.
• Collaborate with operations and content creation teams to ensure components align to design, messaging, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of investment data presentation, working with subject matter experts to validate inputs and outputs.
• Work closely with operations and technology teams to integrate components into business workflows and publishing platforms.
• Optimize content components for reusability and scalability.
• Maintain documentation for content component specifications, usage guidelines, and update processes.
• Stay current on data visualization best practices, coding standards, and relevant financial industry trends.
