Start your Voyage – Apply Now Get to Know the Opportunity We are seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented professional to serve as a liaison between our investment and data science teams and work closely with technology and operations on behalf of investments. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying, coordinating, prioritizing, and implementing cross-functional solutions across all investment platforms to support long-term growth and operational excellence. This role combines business analysis, technology strategy, and project management. It requires a unique balance of front-office understanding and technical fluency to drive sustainable improvements and enhance decision-making, transparency, and efficiency across the firm. This is a high-visibility role that offers a unique opportunity to influence long-term strategic outcomes at the intersection of investments, operations, and technology. You will work alongside senior leadership and investment professionals to help shape our strategic priorities and work closely with both the Head of Investment Process and Data Science and Head of Investment Business Management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with investment processes, front office implementation, or business analysis.
• Experience working in or closely with investment management firms is required.
• Proven experience in a hybrid technology/business operations or COO function within an investment management or financial services environment.
• Deep understanding of front-to-back investment workflows (portfolio management, trading, risk, compliance, data operations).
• Understanding of front office data and technology (e.g., Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, FactSet).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and deliver multiple initiatives across departments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trusted relationships across business, operations, and IT teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to distill complexity into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central bridge between investment teams and technology/operations functions to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, risk teams, IT, and data management to improve workflows and implement long-term strategic tools.
• Analyze current state investment and operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and lead efforts to modernize and streamline.
• Coordinate and oversee projects that span multiple investment platforms (across Fixed Income, equities, income and growth, and multi-asset solutions) such as platform integrations, data architecture redesigns, and workflow optimizations.
• Support the implementation of enterprise-wide systems (e.g., Aladdin, Snowflake) and ensure proper alignment with front office stakeholder requirements.
• Establish governance and prioritization frameworks for ongoing initiatives on behalf of investments.
• Proactively manage issue tracking, backlog prioritization, and resolution across investment platforms.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across senior leadership, investment teams, and support functions by tailoring communication to both strategic and operational levels.
• Promote transparency, flexibility, and knowledge-sharing between business and technical teams.
• Contribute to roadmap development for investment data, reporting, and analytics tools.
