About The Position

The Investment Services Specialist II position provides sales support to investment representatives, including processing and opening new Broker-Dealer accounts. Schedule client appointments and respond to client inquiries. Prepare client reporting and provide administrative support for seminars and meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Previous experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Strong reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills
Well-developed interpersonal relations and communicative skills
Proven strength in interpreting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting financial and non-financial information in an understandable form for the end users of such reports
Exceptional computer skills, including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, data base, presentation, and accounting software.
Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with the public and other employees.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and have flexibility in working hours

Nice To Haves

Series 7/63 license and Life/Health license preferred for investment specific role.

Responsibilities

Manage calendars and coordinating/scheduling clients and vendor appointments.
Effectively and efficiently prepare for client meetings; run investment account reports; create documents using Microsoft Excel; prepare applications, forms, etc.
Build constructive relationships with clients and Investment companies (online, phone and in person) for the completion of paperwork, follow-up, etc.
Prepare overnight packages to send new account paperwork and checks to various investment companies.
Maintain and update Daily Sales Logs; scan/index and maintain client files in appropriate order; maintain licenses required (Security Licenses, as well as Life and Health).
Update and order sales literature as required.
