About The Position

As a CBRE Investment Sales - Finance Analyst, you would be involved in the financial analysis of investment properties. Their role would involve research, data analysis, including financial models and cash flow projections. This job is part of the Brokerage job function. They are responsible for the buying and selling of commercial properties on behalf of clients.

Requirements

  • Sophisticated, clear and clean communication skills (verbal, written, numeric, presentations) for all levels of employees, Brokers, Clients and Management.
  • BS/BA required, preferably with accounting, economics, finance, and/or real estate studies.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts (i.e., Discounted Cash Flow, IRR, NPV, etc.).
  • Financial modelling skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Argus exposure preferred).
  • Must demonstrate an aptitude for building and understanding financial models.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills in combination with outstanding communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Self-starter with sharp focus on details with an awareness of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and with all levels of personnel.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modeling and analysis of current and prospective transactions.
  • Developing pro-forma financials, cash flow models, and other financial analysis.
  • Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, leases, and other due diligence material.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of marketing materials, including preparation of graphics, illustrations and written content.
  • Compile property data tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and presentations for listing assignments.
  • Provide broker team with pertinent information on current market conditions and trends.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify and present trends to broker team and clients.
  • Prepares a variety of analyses, presentations and proposals for new business development, including preparation of graphics, illustrations and written content.
