We are currently seeking an Investment Representative to join our MHVIRC Department. This role is a production role, responsible for Gross Dealer Commission goals based on assignment. Role includes managing client appointments, utilizing CRM properly, maintaining client correspondence, and providing financial guidance to prospects and current program members. Promotes the MHVIRC program to employees and members and supports the seminar planning process while generating new prospects to grow the MHVIRC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Production & Portfolio Management: Provide efficient communication with members for all appointments. Provide financial guidance to the best of your ability and always what you believe to be in the member’s best interest. Work with assigned Financial Advisor, territory or at an MHVIRC program level to achieve GDC goals. Remain ethical, compliant and member centric at all times. Live by the MHV Guiding Principal that People are most important asset. The responsibility of this role is to create success for our members and our program, by building a portfolio and managing your assigned territory/partnership with Financial Advisor. Administrative Responsibilities: Manage calendar of appointments, disseminating correspondence and managing communication with clients and prospective members. Utilize CRM to track client notes and requests. Tasks, responsibilities and compliance as needed/required and dictated by LPL Compliance and IRC Program Manager, or MHV Organizational Compliance. Internal Communication: Maintain communication with IRC Program Manager and IRC Coordinators to properly manage appointments, schedules and client communication. Continually promote the MHVIRC to assure that employees and members maintain knowledge of the program. Work with the branches to ensure understanding of the program and how to increase referral volume. Participate with any MHV initiatives with marketing and/or Community Partner Program seminars. Work with the AVP Regional Managers and IRC Program Manager to review branch comprehension. Performance Measurements include: Assuring member service is top priority; treats members and other employees professionally with courtesy and respect; upholds MHV Service Standards. Achieving assigned GDC targets annually. Coordinating with credit union marketing department regarding target mailings, seminars, lobby days, etc.; tracks follow-up calls for appointments. Filing all materials as per latest compliance guidelines; sets up and file individual client folders; files company/industry materials for reference. Working within credit union referral program for Members Financial Services. Staying abreast of current trends affecting the financial services industry; has an overall knowledge of the credit union, its policies and procedures. Continually expands knowledge and develop skills. Knowledge and Skills: Minimum 6 months experience managing an investment portfolio. Completion of specialized certification or licensing as currently required. Including but not limited to a Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65 combined) State Insurance License/Life & Health Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Strong time management; ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results; ability to work independently; organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, accurate with numbers and names; problem analysis and problem resolution; above-average interpersonal skills; strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office) Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Normal range of vision and hearing abilities required. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters. Work is generally performed within an office environment, primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, standing, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use; standard office equipment available.
