The Investment Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for strategy implementation, for managed investment accounts within the Trust Department, by deciding how client accounts are invested by selecting the appropriate investment model and platform. In addition, this role will engage in asset management functionalities such as, trading, rebalancing, performance reporting, marketing and compliance.

  • Responsible for implementation and monitoring of investment strategies through various platforms utilizing SMA or UMA technology by deciding which model and investment platform should be utilized to most efficiently invest client accounts according to the investment strategy.
  • Provides portfolio support by deciding which securities to buy and sell to fulfill requests, such as withdrawals, contributions, or tax harvesting.
  • Utilizes Morningstar Direct and Factset portfolio analysis to analyze portfolio holdings through attribution and performance analysis.
  • Acts as the backup performance analyst and lends support to marketing by maintaining databases with portfolio analytics and providing client or departmental presentation requests.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related field.
  • 2-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of and exposure to the investment industry and investment concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Power Point, and Office.
