With a robust portfolio exceeding $80 billion in assets under management and advisement globally, CIM offers a diverse range of investment strategies across single and multi-asset class products. The firm is currently in search of an experienced Portfolio Manager to enhance its team of investment professionals. This role is pivotal in strengthening CIM's investment management, research, and portfolio construction capabilities. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the daily management of CIM's client separately managed account (SMA) portfolios, playing a critical role in both investment management and client service functions. Located within the US Fixed Income team in New York City, NY, the candidate will engage in various responsibilities including the daily management of assigned fixed income portfolios, contributing to the development and implementation of investment strategies, and coordinating with the CIM credit research team and traders. The role also involves communicating portfolio strategies, performance, and market developments to internal partners and external clients, ensuring a seamless flow of information and support for client service and fiduciary oversight. In addition to daily portfolio management, the Portfolio Manager will contribute to the overall investment strategy, design, and implementation of portfolio and risk guidelines. The role also includes responsibilities for research coverage, preparing analyses of specific companies or sectors, and attending relevant conferences and corporate management meetings. The Portfolio Manager will interface with both internal and external clients to support new business activities and client retention initiatives, contributing to CIM's strategic planning within relevant functional areas.
