About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Portfolio Control Consultant to support the Private Wealth Businesses within the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Investment Risk team. WIM Investment Risk is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of the WIM Investment Risk program which sets the standards and requirements for investment activities when acting as fiduciary. Programs include investment portfolio, product and individual security risk monitoring. This role supports the Fiduciary and Trust business, including the High-net-worth and Ultra-high-net-worth client segments. In this role, you will: Partner with the relevant business group across the organization to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk Review and analyze basic portfolio risk and serves as a subject matter expert for measuring and managing investment risk Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex activities related to assessing portfolio risk exposures Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal and external partners and stakeholders regarding investment risk

Requirements

  • 2+ years of investment portfolio control experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Emphasis in identifying investment risks and developing remediation plans
  • Experience working with Trust or Fiduciary investments
  • Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Experience building effective partnerships to achieve goals to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, including MS Excel
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
