About The Position

Alan Biller and Associates is seeking a highly motivated Performance Reporting and Investment Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role you will collaborate with internal analysts, research and consulting groups, and external service providers—including custodian banks, investment managers, and administrators. You will also handle client and manager inquiries and coordinate cash movements. We use the InvestmentMetrics/PARis system for all reporting. Alan Biller and Associates is a small, privately held investment consulting firm that provides full service investment consulting to over 90+ multi-employer, corporate and public employee benefit plans. We have been in business since 1982 and currently our assets under advisement are in excess of $150 billion, representing all asset classes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Interest in pursing a CFA and/or CIPM designations
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with InvestmentMetrics PARis or other performance reporting software
  • Solid quantitative and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Morningstar, Bloomberg, eVestment and Prequin
  • Self-starter, highly organized, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare investment performance reports for institutional clients (Pension Plans, 401k, Health & Welfare)
  • Verify and reconcile manager and composite returns
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within reporting systems
  • Deliver accurate, on-time reporting packages to clients
  • Support special project initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed
