About The Position

In this position, you'll be based in the Canton, Massachusetts office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Corporate Action administration is a high-profile client service. Technical advances because of changing legislation and landscape has led to substantial growth in the provision Disbursements solutions. Computershare continues to develop innovative products and services to lead the way within this market allowing us to support current and projected growth opportunities. As the Investment Operations Specialist, you will bring your passion for client service, product innovation, product growth and program execution to this critical role. Your experience and drive will play a major role in the ongoing development of this market and Computershare's solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of Financial Services/Transfer Agent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Vendor relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of COSMOS (incl maintenance), Workflow, SCRIP, ATOP including reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Corporate Action Client Operations Engagement, Front office and various internal stakeholder departments in preparing, managing, and executing end-to-end processing.
  • Organizing associated Corporate Action tasks, document production, system set up and reporting.
  • Review Letters of transmittal, stock certificates and other documents submitted for complex, sensitive, and manual corporate actions to ascertain whether they are properly completed and duly executed.
  • Verify wire instructions, international currency exchange form, if applicable, and update wire spreadsheet.
  • Review restriction library and apply appropriate legend if applicable.
  • Conduct quality review on work that has been processed.
  • Responsible for research and reconciliation.
  • Assist in processing validly submitted Corporate Actions items.
  • Responsible for research, reconciliation and account maintenance.
  • May be required to contact clients and vendors as needed.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
