About The Position

Who we are: Capita is a Registered Investment Advisor firm growing at a fast pace. We focus on building long-lasting relationships with individuals, families, and business owners through comprehensive financial planning. We are adding clients every week, and we need your talents and energy at our firm!

Job: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9 am-5 pm
Location: Draper, UT

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of financial services experience
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Problem-solver
• Proficiency with Office and Google Suite
• High level of integrity and discretion

Nice To Haves

• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Formal trading experience
• Series 65 (preferred); willingness to obtain within 6-12 months if not already licensed

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade communication emails to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Perform regular audits to ensure investment operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, as well as internal policies
• Assist the broader team in complying with both current regulatory requirements and an evolving regulatory landscape
• Research economic and market indicators, applicable policies and legislations, and individual asset managers, partnering with the Capita Investment Committee
• Document and improve evolving investment operations policies and procedures
• Assist in advisor-facing and client-facing one-off projects
• Assist in regular investment and portfolio management-related training
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and suitability through the investing process
• Manage responsibilities with limited supervision and take initiative in process improvements
