About The Position

The Investment Operations Analyst at Insight Global plays a crucial role in supporting the transformation of investment and operational tools, particularly through the implementation of an Investment Book of Record (IBOR). This position focuses on updating core processes to enhance investment platforms and middle office functions, ensuring efficient trade processing, cash reporting, and operational support for various investment transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business.
• 0-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to work under tight time frames and earlier morning hours to meet US Market open time frames.
• Desire to learn and understand investment business and processes.
• Solid analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with software used to assemble, evaluate, interpret, and analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of an Investment Book of Record (IBOR).
• Update core processes for investment platforms and middle office functions.
• Perform daily cash and security reconciliation efforts across asset classes.
• Execute reconciliations to Custody, Accounting, and related systems.
• Provide operational trade support for equity, fixed income, and derivative investments.
• Cover trade verification/affirmation and communication.
• Manage cash reporting and foreign exchange activities.
• Report positions and exposures, and research failed trades.
• Support transactions in holdings, derivatives, private equity, and investment strategy.
• Communicate effectively with portfolio managers, team members, traders, brokers, custodians, and fund accountants.
• Manage relationships with external partners, including brokers and custodians.
