About The Position

Under the supervision of the Associate Investment Manager (AIM), the Investment Officer I (IO I) is the entry, development, and first working level performing the less complex investment work and will be responsible for day-to-day functions related to vendor management activities, including but not limited to investment contracting and procurement functions, reporting and data analysis related sourcing and contracting to ensure data completeness and accuracy of process. The IO I will provide end-to-end services for investment contracting support to both the Investment Office (INVO) staff and the Investment Services (IS) team through a full business cycle. The IO I will maintain a positive and collaborative team approach while demonstrating CalPERS' Core Values of Quality, Respect, Integrity, Openness, Accountability, and Balance in accordance with personal work ethic in alignment with CalPERS Investment Beliefs.
