Treasury is responsible for the cash and investment management activities of the AARP enterprise. This includes maintaining sufficient liquidity for operating needs, maximizing earnings on investments within policy guidelines and efficiently processing daily transactions. AARP’s Investment Team is seeking a Graduate Degree/MBA student as a summer intern to use newly acquired financial skills and apply them to the management of a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio. The intern will provide quantitative, analytical, and research support in implementing investment strategies for the broad range of funds managed by AARP. Funds are managed for AARP, its affiliates, and benefit plans. This position works closely with and under the direction of the investment team and the Treasurer. This position works across a wide spectrum of asset classes and strategies, including public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, and private funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investments, managing data, and thinking strategically. This paid internship will begin in Summer 2026 and may continue through August.
