About The Position
As an Investment Funds Attorney on the professional track, you will: Apply your legal expertise and research skills to provide accurate, timely, and well-reasoned advice on investment fund matters. Manage client engagements efficiently under tight deadlines, demonstrating strong attention to detail and professionalism. Work collaboratively across teams and clients, fostering strong relationships and anticipating client needs. Mentor junior lawyers and support staff, contributing to the firms culture of growth and excellence. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing physical and sedentary work, including extended computer use, teleconferences, and client meetings, with occasional travel as needed.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 13 years of relevant legal experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 or similar high-profile law firm.
- Superior oral and written communication, legal analysis, and strategic thinking.
- Strong solution orientation, project management skills, and ownership of responsibilities.
- Self-awareness, relationship building, team leadership, and inclusiveness.
- Entrepreneurship, career commitment, business development, professionalism, and integrity.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
- Produce timely, accurate, and high-quality work under pressure.

- Participate actively in virtual and in-person meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities
- Analyze legal issues and apply principles to specific client facts and situations.
- Produce high-quality legal work product with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain availability to meet client and firm demands, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Engage in business development and advocacy activities as required.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Adhere to all firm policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
