About The Position

The Stellarix Group Investment Director Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Investment Director to work effectively with our advisors in leveraging agency and home office resources and partnerships to drive Net Flows, GDC growth and revenue. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing advisor connectivity, optimizing investment strategies, and fostering collaboration for measurable growth. Additionally, the candidate will assist in attracting high GDC producers and teams while supporting and understanding fee-based planning both within the existing team and with new advisors joining the firm. The ideal candidate will possess deep investment knowledge, strong financial acumen, proven leadership skills, and a passion for facilitating growth through strategic engagement and resource alignment. This individual will be a team player and work well with high performers. Key Responsibilities: Advisor Connectivity & Resource Alignment: Act as a bridge between advisors and home office resources, ensuring they have access to the tools, insights, and partnerships necessary for success. Investment Strategy & Management: Guide advisors in developing and implementing investment strategies that drive Net flows, GDC growth and Revenue. Market Insights & Trend Analysis: Provide ongoing research and insights into market trends, helping advisors implement informed investment decisions. Training & Development Support: Equip advisors with knowledge on investment solutions, risk management, and portfolio construction through structured training and ongoing support. Revenue Growth & Business Development: Identify opportunities to enhance revenue generation through optimized investment solutions and strategic partnerships and provide a weekly report on results and forecasts. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Support advisors in developing tailored investment strategies that strengthen client relationships and improve outcomes. Expansion: Assist in identifying high GDC producers and teams to strengthen the firm’s investment capabilities. Complete understanding of the WEAR GDC Loan Program from the home office. Fee-Based Planning Advocacy: Promote fee-based planning among existing advisors and integrate it into new advisor onboarding and training. Reporting on Net Flows in your area to the General Agent and the Leadership Team. Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure advisors align with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and firm policies. Nice To Haves

  • Must have Life and Health Licenses, Series 7 and 63/65 or 66. Series 24 preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in investment management, financial advisory, or business development roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Experience working closely with financial advisors and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio analysis tools, and investment research platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
