About The Position

The Investment Department Coordinator at Columbia Threadneedle Investments plays a crucial role in supporting the investment team by managing day-to-day business operations and project activities. Requirements

  • Associate's degree; or 1-3 years of equivalent administrative and/or project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge and application with Microsoft suite programs (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complicated travel, including international.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and success in working across multiple teams, offices, and time zones.
  • Ability to anticipate business needs, utilize independent judgment and have a demonstrated aptitude of discretion while accessing and handling sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with multiple teams and individuals at various professional levels and locations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience being efficient and skillful while working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Project management/coordination experience.
  • Experience with administrative programs: Ariba Buyer, Concur, etc.
  • Financial services industry experience is favorable and/or basic level of understanding of the financial markets would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day coordination and support of department and project activities to ensure key tasks and deadlines are met.
  • Independently manage leader(s) calendar and meeting prioritization, including scheduling meetings/conferences.
  • Plan domestic/international travel, on/offsites and events, coordinate accommodations and resources, track/file expenses, and create and provide initial analysis of reports.
  • Preparation of meeting materials, track expenses, and create and provide initial analysis of reports.
  • Read and respond to emails and requests on behalf of the leader; ensure leader is informed of pending requests or requests where follow up is required.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and manage small projects.
