About The Position

The Role Consolidated Data Services is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Investment Data Management Analyst to support the build‑out of our newly formed Security Reference team in Merrimack, NH. In this role, you will provide critical operational data management support focused on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement of security reference data. You will be part of a collaborative global team responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing the quality of security reference data that powers Fidelity’s investment processes across asset classes, including fixed income, private credit, and broadly syndicated loans (BSLs). This role requires strong analytical skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and an interest in contributing to the development of a growing capability. This position emphasizes Operations; it is not a Technology role. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Experience in Operations, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics Financial services experience with reference data preferred Familiarity with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, IDC, and ratings vendors Experience using analytical and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, R, OBIEE) preferred Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience with data analytics, data mining, or operations research is a plus

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of new and existing securities in the Master Data Management system
  • Executing data quality checks and controls to maintain best‑in-class security reference data
  • Responding to business partner inquiries regarding data quality, timeliness, and exceptions
  • Troubleshooting production issues and partnering with Technology and business stakeholders to identify root causes and solutions
  • Participating in operational initiatives and cross‑functional projects, contributing subject matter expertise and process insight
