About The Position

Aon is seeking an Investment Consulting Analyst to join their Client Service Team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves providing advisory and OCIO investment consulting services to a diverse range of institutional investors. The analyst will utilize technical, analytical, and communication skills to support consultants and clients, manage client relationships, and contribute to research projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area (e.g., business, finance, economics).
  • 1+ years of experience in the investment space.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of capital markets and investments or a keen interest in developing this knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and performance reporting analytics.
  • Basic writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee work produced by offshore analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Support consultants and clients in all aspects of data-related work.
  • Balance financial account statements for clients' investment portfolios.
  • Audit rates of return and reconcile discrepancies of returns calculated by performance systems versus custodians or investment managers.
  • Prepare quarterly investment performance reports by finalizing financial information from multiple sources.
  • Gather manager research documents relevant to clients' portfolios and inform senior team members.
  • Update Risk Analyzer with cash flows to produce defined benefit client dashboards.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from clients and consultants.
  • Compose written interpretations of investment portfolio results and prepare discussion guides for client meetings.
  • Meet with senior client team members to discuss relevant client matters.
  • Oversee work conducted by offshore analysts on common clients.
  • Act as client manager for 3-6 client relationships, serving as the first point of contact for clients.
  • Assist with firm-wide research projects and join dedicated research committees.
  • Attend client calls and meetings with senior team members to present materials.
  • Participate in mentorship and training of new colleagues.
