About The Position

Reagan Securities, Inc. (Reagan) is a partner-owned investment banking firm based in Atlanta, GA. Reagan focuses on the insurance distribution industry across, providing M&A advisory services to hundreds of the insurance distribution system's strongest players, including over 66 of the top 100 agents and brokers in the U.S. Reagan has advised on approximately 150 transactions in the last five years with an aggregate deal value of ~$14.0 billion. We are the leading advisor on the industry's premier and most complex transactions, giving us unique insight into various deal structures and terms. We are currently seeking to hire Summer Analysts. With approximately 30 transactions annually, summer analysts have the opportunity to contribute to live deals—and potentially see one or multiple through to close—during their internship. Summer Analysts will work on lean deal teams, getting direct exposure in working alongside Analysts, Associates, Vice Presidents, and Partners, providing support on the following: Sell-side Advisory Buy-side Advisory Debt and Equity Capital Raises Mergers A successful candidate will possess a unique blend of characteristics, including: Strong math / financial capabilities. An educational background in finance, accounting, economics, or engineering is preferred. Excel skills. The majority of work will involve using complex spreadsheets, requiring a high degree of comfort in creatively using Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills. An ability to analyze complex business and operational issues to arrive at resolutions effectively is critical to our work. Effective communication skills. Analysts must be able to communicate clearly in both written form and in client conversations. The ability to inform others and constructively engage in debate is crucial. A strong work. The desire to remain at the top of our industry drives our team to work hard. These qualities should position a candidate to make an immediate contribution while simultaneously learning investment banking skills and the needed competencies to grow professionally within Reagan.
