About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Associate to join our Industrials Investment Banking coverage team. Our Industrials team advises on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and financial investments. Key sub-sectors include Aerospace & Defense, Building Products, Capital Goods, Chemicals, Forest Products & Packaging, Industrial Services, Metals, and Transportation & Logistics. In this role, you will:

Requirements

2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
Registration for FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop client coverage materials
Build financial models and support various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
Prepare presentations and other materials and memos for clients and internal committees
Develop, train and support Analysts, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the team
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and other client interactions, gaining exposure to key executives and senior bankers
