The Energy, Infrastructure & Transition (EIT) team is the largest investment banking team at CIBC and focuses on clients in the United States, Canada and Europe across broad sector coverage including traditional sectors of power generation, utilities, upstream and midstream energy, transportation, and social infrastructure, plus emerging energy transition sectors including renewable power, carbon capture, hydrogen, renewable fuels, among other emerging low-carbon solutions. CIBC was named North American ESG Financial Advisor of the year in 2022 and North American Financial Advisor of the year in 2019 by Infrastructure Journal Global (IJGlobal). This role is based in Houston and primary focus is on the midstream and pipeline, LNG and carbon capture sectors, with increasing focus on other emerging energy transition sectors. The Director for Global Investment Banking - Energy, Infrastructure, & Transition will work with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Directors, Associates and Analysts to expand CIBC Global Investment Banking's presence in the Energy, Infrastructure, & Transition sectors in the US.
