We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Technology team in New York, NY. Our experienced associate position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The experienced associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The experienced associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities. Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of Investment Banking experience at the associate level or other relevant work experience.
  • Prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Highly motivated, team player with an ability to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Degree in finance, business, management, or other related degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare valuations and write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements.
  • Prepare M&A analyses and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings.

  • Function as a backup for relationships with important clients.
  • Act as the key contact for some clients and assume important new business responsibilities.
