About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join our Energy and Power team as part of Corporate and Investment Banking. In this role, you will: Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research, and completing a trading simulation within Investment Banking Mid-Year Program Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal and external customers

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
  • Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities
  • Dedication to building a career in Investment Banking
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire
  • This position may require you to meet FINRA registration requirements, which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification, in addition to regulatory and compliance requirements, including successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviews
