About The Position

Duties: Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs for public and private institutions. Advise on acquisitions, divestitures and leveraged buy-outs, or executing capital markets transactions, including equity offerings and debt issuances. Review financial data to build detailed financial models and execute transactions from pitch to close. Review valuation analyses, including Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), trading comparables, transaction comparables, Leveraged buyout (LBO) analysis, and business financial combination, prepared by Analysts. Conduct industry and market research in order to execute mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions. Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team, senior executives, and clients. Develop pitch materials to secure new business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, gather deliverables, and communicate findings to senior team members or clients. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Investment Banking, Audit Associate/Analyst, Associate (Finance), Global Advisory, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Investment Banking, Audit Associate/Analyst, Associate (Finance), Global Advisory, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: analyzing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess financial performance and financial objectives, including performance against corporate targets; applying U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards, as well as reconciliations between both methodologies, in conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed supporting documentation; using Microsoft Excel to perform financial analysis, including using vlookup, index match, pivot tables, goal seek, and data table formulas; performing statistical analysis, including simple and multivariate regression analyses, and applying them to corporate finance analysis; using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word to prepare corporate finance advisory presentations used in client meetings, and internal strategy discussions; conducting company and industry research using public filings and earnings reports to support financial analysis and presentation materials; preparing pitch materials, supporting the development of SEC filings, engaging with counsel, auditors and third-party advisors to develop SEC filings; developing and updating dynamic financial models used for evaluations and presentations to clients.
