Summary Renewa is currently looking for a Houston-based Senior Finance Associate to support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building models, improving processes, and being deeply involved in how we evaluate and manage investments. The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in either: Investment banking (bulge bracket or top-tier platform), preferable with energy or renewables exposure. Finance, corporate development, or buy-side investment roles at a major renewable energy developer or investment firm.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, asset performance, and capital deployment decisions.
• Support the development of investment memoranda, internal reporting, and materials for senior management.
• Identify and help implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the finance function.
• Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to support transaction execution and ongoing asset management.
• Own and manage proprietary datasets, including aggregation, validation, and summarization of large data sets.
