Investment Associate - Healthcare
About The Position
Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is hiring an Associate for our healthcare team. Founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service ( VCaaS ) for corporations, working with industry leaders like Kellogg, T-Mobile, Cencora , and more. With a team of 40+ investment professionals in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, CPV manages more than 20 corporate venture capital funds. As an Associate, you will work on a dedicated fund team focused on drug delivery technologies, pharmaceutical R&D tools, and pharmaceutical supply chain innovations as part of our larger healthcare sector practice. Associates source venture capital investment opportunities and help impact the innovation strategies at some of the world’s most successful corporations. The Associate role is an exciting and entrepreneurial opportunity to join a growing firm, providing potential for growth and advancement. We are building something special and are seeking candidates who share our vision and excitement. This position will be based with our team in Boston, Chicago, New York, or Philadelphia .
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- A science or engineering background; bioengineering or biotechnology concentration preferred
- Detail-oriented and self starter who enjoys working in a collegial workplace
- Critical thinking, including superior research and analytical ability
- Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for venture capital, start-ups and entrepreneurship
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Identify potential start-up investments and source relationships with the company founders
- Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches
- Track and report on deal flow generated by our team
- Research industry sectors, trends, and market dynamics
- Assist with due diligence
