About The Position

The Associate Analyst I/II position within the Wealth Management Advice and Solutions Division (WMAS) at Edward Jones focuses on understanding client needs to create tailored investment solutions. This role supports the Portfolio Solutions Team, which manages significant client assets and aims to provide best-in-class portfolio guidance. The position involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders to enhance investment decision-making and contribute to the firm's long-term strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
  • 2-4 years of working experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a related field preferred.
  • CFA designation or progress towards completion within 1 year of hire preferred.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 combo) required or attainable within six months of hire.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and software programs such as Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with multi-asset portfolios, manager selection, and/or fund management is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Portfolio Solutions Team in assembling, reviewing, and ensuring integrity of investment data.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, prepare investment recommendations, and monitor performance reporting.
  • Assist in model trade implementation processes and risk controls, as well as internal and external tool management.
  • Develop knowledge and analytical skills for investment decision-making, including asset allocation implementation and portfolio construction.
  • Collaborate with Investment Manager Research, Investment Risk, and Asset Allocation teams to make informed decisions.
