This role will be responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on multifamily and industrial real estate acquisitions and developments. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, and experience evaluating multifamily and industrial properties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate investment, development, brokerage, private equity, or related roles
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of multifamily and industrial real estate market dynamics
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Experience working with real estate transaction documents, loan agreements, and leases is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real estate debt and equity structuring.
  • Knowledge of real estate investment management software (Yardi, CoStar, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial models in Excel to evaluate potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
  • Perform market research to analyze investment opportunities, including rent and expense comparisons, cap rate trends, and supply-demand factors.
  • Develop investment memorandums and presentations for the internal investment committee.
  • Provide assistance throughout all stages of the acquisition process, including deal structuring, financing, and closing.
  • Track asset performance, prepare quarterly reports, and offer recommendations to enhance value.
  • Cultivate relationships with brokers, lenders, and other industry professionals to identify and assess investment opportunities.
