Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics or related field
  • Ideally 0-2 years of experience and demonstrated growth in Finance/Accounting positions
  • A self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills, with the ability to follow through and report results in writing and via various Excel-based formats
  • Detail oriented
  • Team-focused mentality
  • Ability to work across many projects with varying levels of oversight
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for real estate investing

Responsibilities

  • Create investment models for the company’s pending property acquisitions and solicit underwriting materials for all such purchases
  • Analyze operating performance trends, rent rolls, and revenue projections
  • Analyze financial data to ensure income and expense accuracy including the review of Bank Statements, P&Ls, management reports and tax returns
  • Collect and summarize market data including the review of competitor pricing and market supply
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees
  • Attend internal deal team meetings and take notes/actions as needed
  • Track pipeline activity and update internal deal databases
  • Screen potential acquisitions to ensure they fit our investment criteria
  • Work with our deal sourcing teams to provide feedback and projections in a timely manner
