About The Position

We are looking for an experienced investment accountant for our world leading insurance client on a project basis. This role is fully remote and is expected to conclude in 6 months.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
5+ years of direct investment accounting experience
3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Clearwater system is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with end-to-end derivative/ fixed income/ structured lending/ mortgage loans accounting and reporting across GAAP & STAT
Review transactions are processed completely, accurately, and on time, holding teams and vendors accountable.
Oversee Clearwater processing, ensuring data quality, reconciliations, and mapping to SAP are correct
Direct daily and monthly reconciliations across Clearwater, custodians, counterparties, and the general ledger.
Lead preparation of disclosures for GAAP/STAT financial statements, NAIC schedules
