About The Position
Continental General Insurance Company is seeking a full-time Investment Accountant Team Lead to join our Investment Accounting team. The Investment Accountant Team Lead will play a key role in day-to-day accounting and reporting for the company's investment portfolio, which includes bonds, preferred and common stock, mortgage loans, derivatives, and alternative investments. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with statutory accounting principles (SAP), NAIC guidelines, and Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Director of Investment Accounting and will work closely with the Investment Operations, Treasury, and Financial Reporting teams.
