About The Position
The Investigator III and Investigator IV positions involve performing investigative enforcement work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). The roles include conducting investigations of criminal violations, administrative investigations of employee misconduct, and investigations of waste, fraud, and abuse. Both positions require serving as a Commissioned Peace Officer in the Investigations Division of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and involve moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
