About The Position
The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF), Division of Confidential Investigations (DCI), is among the most active special investigations units in the country working with local, state, and federal authorities in the investigation, arrest and prosecution of individuals and businesses suspected of workers compensation and disability fraud involving NYSIF. DCI's mission is to reduce the instances of insurance fraud and abuse against NYSIF and to prevent and mitigate ongoing fraud. Reporting to Senior Investigative Officers, including the Chief of Investigations, the Investigative Officer 2 (SIF) will conduct investigations of workers compensation fraud, waste and abuse by claimants throughout the state. Investigative Officers handle matters of a confidential and/or sensitive nature.
