About The Position

Inverter Validation Engineer for Garrett Transportation I Inc. in Torrance, CA Responsibilities: Responsible for specifying, developing and maintaining HIL and P-HIL test systems used to validate development of embedded software related to high speed electric motor control units, including detailed hardware, software and configuration setup and support to the software validation process. Contact with the application software engineers, electronics hardware designers, other design functions to deliver complex system solutions efficiently and in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that the agreed systems are functional to requirements at the point of delivery and for ensuring that issues and faults arising are dealt with rapidly. Empowered to act autonomously, ensuring accountability, cost and other key programmed metrics. Drive standardization & improvements across the globe & implement best practices globally. Contribute to the identification, development & implementation of technical roadmap for software testing within the global eCOE Validation team. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Location: Torrance, CA 40 hours/week The salary range for this role is between $108,971 and $119,606. Benefits: We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.
