About The Position

The Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor oversees inbound & outbound operations and leads key aspects of our inventory integrity initiatives. This position reports to the Director – Supply Chain and is responsible for all warehouse & inventory employees and operations for an 8-hour shift. This is a hands-on position, and the expectation is that 30% of the work week will be on a forklift. This position has a base salary plus 10% monthly bonus target.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in an Inventory & Warehouse environment.
  • WMS experience.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally in a collaborative manner.
  • Must be able to influence others using data and experience, all while respecting and supporting the priorities and objectives of other functions.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and able to develop clear and concise spreadsheets, documents, and reports.
  • Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently.

  • 3 years warehouse/inventory experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage both the physical and system transaction aspects of the inbound & outbound flow of product to ensure inventory integrity and all required information is captured prior to further movement throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify root causes of data integrity gaps and work cross-functionally to address.
  • Analyze facility inventory to ensure inventory is stored in the most efficient location.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a strong 5S program for all internal and external areas of the facility that are the responsibility of Supply Chain.
  • Manage all inbound & outbound carriers to ensure temperatures comply with our requirements and are recorded, paperwork is complete, seals are in place, with all discrepancies being immediately communicated to appropriate functions.
  • Responsible for staffing & scheduling respective shifts appropriately.
  • Ensure FEFO & FIFO processes are followed.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and managing the performance of employees assigned to respective shift.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a forklift driver cross-training program that ensures all forklift drivers can cover all aspects of pallet and product movement.
  • Support and ensure full compliance with all applicable safety initiatives in the facility, including but not limited to pre-shift equipment inspections.
  • Develop and implement a structured, recurring, continuous improvement communication process with other key functions – Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, Maintenance, and Kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement a manage to metrics culture that ensures continuous improvement, lower costs, and increased efficiency.
