About The Position

The Warehouse Assistant - Inventory is responsible for assisting in inventory processing, shipping, and receiving of parts and assets. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in the yard and shop, moving parts, and participating in meetings and training. The position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and requires adherence to safety regulations and company guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, and stepping.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds independently on uneven surfaces.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl occasionally during work duties.
• Moderate use of hand and power tools for mechanically oriented functions.
• Clear vision to judge distances and maintain awareness of work activities.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Accurate with inventory counting and paperwork entry.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year general experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge and experience in warehousing and inventory management.
• Previous Mud Motor inventory or shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory processing and shipping/receiving of parts and assets.
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the yard and shop.
• Ensure proper packing, labeling, and tagging of parts to prevent misidentification and damage.
• Accurately enter inventory/shipping paperwork into Oracle or other business systems.
• Complete daily forklift inspection checklist.
• Maintain and service warehouse equipment like forklifts and trucks.
• Control and track all parts leaving and arriving at the yard.
• Assist with physical inventory counting and audits.
• Follow safety procedures in accordance with established regulations.
