General Job Description: Inventory Technician A key member of the Customer Service Team, the Inventory Technician, will report to theSenior Account Manager, and will also work closely with the Broward County On-Site Account Manager on day-to-day operations. This position is located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and is a hands-on customer service position.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, completion and time-management skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (internally & externally) promoting teamwork and customer retention.
  • Customer service experience with technical support background preferred.
  • Possess an analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with Cellular/GPS technology preferred.
  • Technical/Computer Software Proficiency Required. This includes but is not limited to: Microsoft Office Google Chrome, Internet Explorer Etc.
  • Understanding troubleshooting technical/computer/cellular issues remotely.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems is preferred.
  • High School Education or Equivalent Required.
  • Organized and detail orientated.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual – Spanish Speaking (optional).

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently coordinate the flow of goods on a daily basis between the different jail locations in addition to field recoveries.
  • Manage order fulfillment through Track Group’s inventory mgmt. system.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of GPS devices and equipment on-site.
  • Accurately forecast demand to avoid last-minute orders and stress on the supply chain.
  • Product cleaning and triage.
  • Provide customer specific return reports upon request.
  • Identify and suggest operational improvements for the local operations.
  • Implement procedural changes and improvement initiatives.
  • Local responsibility for quality and quality control.
