About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Technician whose primary duties will include supporting the Lead Inventory Technician with performing all inventory control functions. Full Time - Monday through Friday, Daylight - In-Person Only! Additional Duties: Record and maintain inventory systems to maintain an accurate inventory count. Enter material receipts and disbursements into database and on item cards as appropriate. Maintain an organized and up to date filing system to ensure efficiency as well as an organized stockroom to ensure efficiency. Report defective materials, questionable conditions, discrepancies, and non-conforming products to the Lead Inventory Technician. Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Maintain and organize the work area and equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Help as necessary and provide back-up support person to the Shipping department as directed by Inventory Lead or Production Manager. Work with Inventory Lead to refine documented processes and establish methods of conformance to the ISO policies and standards. Work closely with the Purchasing department on incoming, first article and in-process inspections. May be required to cross train, supporting other groups within Production. Follow verbal directions to meet Production schedule. Perform other related duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior inventory or shipping/receiving experience is preferred
  • Must possess basic computer skills along with alpha numeric keyboard skills
  • Must have ability to work under pressure or time constraints
  • Must have ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must have solid math aptitude along with the ability to work precisely with a variety of inventory materials and products
  • Must maintain reliable attendance

  • Prior inventory or shipping/receiving experience is preferred
