About The Position

The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Site Services Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: 1+ years’ customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience is required.
  • Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office suite.
  • Qualifications: Conform to all company and customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues required.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • High level of customer service skills with the ability to display a professional can-do attitude required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs required.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines required.
  • Problem-solving skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG and OSHA Right to Know experience is considered a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP facility is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment.
  • Manage customer’s point of use or stockroom inventory.
  • Responsible for logistical activities such as shipping and receiving of materials through coordination with 3rd party couriers.
  • May handle and manage chemicals, including hazardous materials.
  • Basic order entry and follow-up on existing back-orders.
  • Maintain and check safety stations.
  • Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Cleanroom garment management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
