The Inventory Technician works closely with department team members to ensure appropriate inventories of supplies, equipment, and materials are maintained. This role involves distributing and processing incoming supplies, equipment, and materials throughout the ThedaCare campus, ordering medical/surgical products using handheld devices or the materials management system, and replenishing stock/non-stock products on PAR carts or at PAR locations. The technician also coordinates new product purchasing with assigned departments, assists in managing area supply inventories based on usage, performs supply cart maintenance (cleaning, rotating stock, updating labels), and responds to customer needs/inquiries for the procurement process.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Distributes and processes incoming supplies, equipment, and materials throughout the ThedaCare campus.
  • Orders medical/surgical products using hand held devices or requisitioning in the materials management system.
  • Replenishes stock/non-stock products on PAR carts or at PAR locations.
  • Coordinates new stock/non-stock product purchasing with assigned department and orders as appropriate.
  • Assists in the management of area supply inventories and adjusts accordingly based on usage.
  • Performs supply cart maintenance (cleans, rotates stock, updates labels, etc.).
  • Responds to customer needs/inquiries for the procurement process.
