About The Position

The Inventory Technician is responsible to ensuring accurate location and counting of inventory. They work to keep inventory neat and organized along with working in collaboration with other departments to ensure accuracy of inventory levels. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assist with stocking incoming inventory after it is received. Work with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy and proper levels. Perform cycle counts based on our counting schedule. Create and monitor holds for insufficient product. Restocking cancelled orders and specific areas of the facility. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong math skills and can use and understand a tape measurer
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Can accurately count products and enter data into a computer
  • Can read, write, and speak English along with effectively communicate with team members
  • Embodies the 80/20 attitude and culture in all aspects of their job.
  • Able to walk, stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for a 10-hour work day.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous inventory experience in a production/manufacturing setting or previous inventory experience in a fast paced work environment (retail, service industry, etc.)
  • 1 or more years of experience with 80/20 products in another production position (EP, Manufacturing, Panel Shop, Builds, etc.)
