About The Position

Will be responsible for performing the inventory activities related to Sales Order Fulfilment. Person must be highly motivated and self-driven to ensure our customers receive superior service and quality products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4 year in stockroom environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Experience with inventory transactions
  • Work under minimal supervision with the demonstrated ability to establish personal priorities plan workload and establish commitments for task completion
  • Self-starter with the ability to see a task through to completion with the ability to identify problem areas target them for improvement and implement change
  • Must possess the operating skills to use hand held scanners and learn to enter data in various systems as necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast environment and under pressure
  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
  • Accomplished lead-by-example tactical change agent with strong interpersonal skills
  • Functional knowledge of MRP systems

  • Essential Physical Abilities: Lifting and carrying 30 40 pounds; Developed fine motor control (grasp handle manipulate objects with fingers; Frequent bending kneeling reaching stooping squatting pushing; climbing ladders; standing for long periods of time; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs ramps uneven terrain)

Responsibilities

  • Locates/picks material accurately as Specified on Pick List or Work Order as outlined in SOP and work instructions
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods inventory raw materials and subcomponents
  • Managing On-Time delivery of customer orders by ensuring all items are picked on or before schedule ship date
  • Take direction from Supervisor regarding daily duties
  • Receive finished material into stock and review outstanding backlog to ship product
  • Work with Product Management for priority list of any backordered items
  • Responsible for moving materials from warehouse locations to designated locations as required
  • Restock parts in a safe manner as required
  • Responsible for the proper handling and condition of product being moved to insure product is moved in a safe manner and delivered without damage.
  • Manage and maintain material control of company controlled inventory stockroom in compliance with company quality system procedures
  • Oversee material issuance allocation FIFO and scrap processes
  • Expedite products from Test Receiving and Manufacturing to ensure orders are picked on schedule
  • Accurately label and package 250-350 line items for shipment
  • Correctly pick parts from inventory of 2500 finished parts and 7600 raw parts available for shipment
  • Proactively communicate low inventory levels and materials discrepancies and other issues that my negatively impact material quality or the ability to meet operations objectives
  • Ensure Parts are Safely Packaged to Prevent Damage
  • Ensure Proper Documentation is Complete and test forms are printed
  • Verify part numbers and piece counts of material picked
  • Focus on Quality and Low Error Rates
  • Makes decisions and utilizes available resources to meet customer requirements
  • Identify Non-Conforming Material and document per procedure
  • Work with other Internal Departments by phone and written communications such as Commercial Operations Manufacturing and Shipping
  • Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all Procedures and Policies Relating to Product Quality
  • Perform Miscellaneous Projects as Directed to Support Efficient Operation of department
  • Communicates with supervisor any discrepancies customer issues or potential problems
  • Perform accurate cycle count
  • Issue parts against open work orders
  • Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team
  • Can quickly identify course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times
  • Perform Inventory transactions with handheld barcode scanners. The material handlers are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of inventory and achieving the company stated inventory accuracy levels.
  • Assists supervision in maintaining proper inventory control
  • Support the Lean Sigma strategy for CI
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Remove cardboard and trash.
  • Maintain equipment daily in good operating condition
  • Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; assist in safety training of employees; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
  • Extensive walking is required. Depending on area of building personal protective equipment may be worn to include ESD coats dosimeter ESD & steel toe shoes and safety glasses.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Evaluation of performance will be based on ability to: Ability to work with all departments and companies related  to Evident to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  • Anticipate and react to changing conditions that require decisions actions and/or problem solving activities
  • Meet or exceed KPI's for Inventory and Picking Accuracy as defined by the Corporate Director Commercial Operations
