About The Position

The position involves performing a variety of tasks associated with the distribution of supplies and equipment to requesting departments. The individual will be responsible for inventory management of par carts on units to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Additionally, the role requires ensuring that item numbers are utilized on all products used throughout the facility, both stock and non-stock. Basic clerical support is also part of the job, and a basic knowledge of computer skills is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in inventory or supply required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PAR levels on all nursing areas to ensure stock and cleanliness.
• Report any issues with orders to the purchasing department, such as shortages, overages, or breakage.
• Place all stock items on shelves in the proper location, ensuring chargeable items are put in the pre-tag area.
• Deliver all special-order items and obtain signatures for products delivered.
• Be present at the assigned workstation as scheduled, ready to work immediately without startup time.
• Use time efficiently and avoid wasting time on functions unrelated to work duties.
• Receive hospital supplies and crash carts, maintaining compliance with defined policy.
