We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Staff member to join our Shipping Department. Responsible to assist in all the fulfillment related activities like order management, dumps, substitutions, repositions, extending availability, adjustment of orders to maintain FIFO approach, site walks, shrink reports, plant quality inspections and records adjustments. Strong focus on inter-department order management to ensure fulfillment rates over 96%.

Requirements

  • Basic plant and inventory management knowledge.
  • Able to accurately enter data
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High performance characterized by attention to detail and accurate follow-through.
  • High level of integrity, adhering to company standards and values.
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed.
  • Required Horticulture and/or greenhouse experience.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma
  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory agriculture industry experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the fulfillment department by partnering and coordinating with Customer Service, Sales, Production and Growing on all orders, programs, and procedures to ensure high fulfillment rates.
  • Participate in site walks to identify potential order fulfillment problems.
  • Review periodically the Order Fulfillment Checklist to ensure all departments are following the routine activities and deadlines.
  • Check fulfillment workspace for aging crops and any potential dumps.
  • Weekly review of all assigned orders and reporting of shortages.
  • Daily schedule comment entries into Picas to address any order management action or suggestion.
  • Will be cross trained with the inventory team
