About The Position
Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of inventory, surplus, and capital assets owned or leased by the College of the Muscogee Nation. This includes utilizing asset management systems to track all current, incoming, and outgoing inventory and surplus, ensuring precise labeling with asset tags and thorough documentation. The Inventory Specialist is key in optimizing inventory levels, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. The specialist collaborates with the Facilities Supervisor and team to align inventory practices with organizational needs and objectives while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The Inventory Specialist must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effectively operate within a multicultural and Native American environment, contributing to the institution's mission and values.
